Broken Validation

Friday, April 24th, 2009

I noticed a while back that when I added Shadow Box as the modal popup in the portfolio section that it broke the validation to my site. I’m sure it can be fixed and was probably something I did. I just need to find the time to get the kinks out. Or should I even worry about it? That brings up an interesting question. I have worked with a lot of web devs and some don’t care a lick about validating code while others are really strict about it. I have always though of myself to be in the middle. I like my code to validate and I’ll put some extra effort in to get it validated. It just makes me feel good. I don’t shun websites that don’t fully validate though. What are your thoughts on validation? Should all sites on the web validate when tested by W3 or should we not care?

Music for Coding #2

etecoverIt has been a while since my first Music for Coding post. I have been going through a mellow music stage and thought I would put a plug in for El Ten Eleven. They have a couple albums but my favorite is Ten Eleven. I love the overall mood that they create when I am coding.
