Like the over design of the site...simple and easy to get around. Jus' a comment about this blog....is it to far to the left margin? In my browser (Firefox/Mac) it is right up against the left edge making it hard to read.

I think there is a huge difference with taking what someone else has done and using that as inspiration and copying all of it. We all use each other as inspiration even if we don't recognize we do. We see stuff we like thenwe see how we could change it, tweak it, update it to have our person twist on it. If something sparks a new idea in your head that is inspiration. Taking something and just swapping out some images and copy is not using something as inspiration though. But yea that is my two cents. Rob I have seen you flash 3d nav site somewhere as well. It is a cool idea. Some place that built custom containers or plastics or something has a site very similar. Anyways, thank for reading.

I'm not going to lie, I'm in love with your design. I take it as some hardcore inspiration. I've thought about using similar functions like horizontal scroll and all that but I would never rip off your entire design. When does it go too far as of doing what others have done before?

However, I agree with ^marc above, I would take it as a compliment, and i wouldn't be flustered, his jQuery doesn't work and I doubt he will get any clientele from it.

On a more personal note I'm terrified I'm going to lose work from outsourcing in India, I don't want to be out of a job.

I'm sure he hasn't done any work for J.Crew, forever21, or levis either. Just take it as a compliment that someone has copied your design. Maybe you should sell the wordpress theme over at themeforest.net. Then you might have loads of people out their with your site but at least you'll get some cash for it.

One more reason not to trust web outsourcing to india. Who knows if their portfolio is legit.

I try to get everything I do (on my site) to validate, both the HTML and the CSS. It just seems like I'm doing my little part to help weed out the poorly coded websites that are keeping old browsers like IE6 in play.
